Located at 840 Valens Road between Peter’s
Corners and the village of Rockton, Ontario. Fox Run is 15 minutes
from Dundas, Cambridge, Ancaster and Waterdown and a 30 minute drive
from Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph and Brantford.
The facility is owned and operated by Dieter Werner. Dieter is
a German certified professional trainer. Moving from Stuttgart,
Germany to Canada in 1982, Dieter has been an active participant
in the equestrian industry in this country, competing in dressage,
eventing, hunters and jumpers up to the Grand Prix level. He is
a senior hunter and jumper course designer, and coaches riders and
trains horses at the facility.
Dieter is also available for coaching at other facilities.
He is a founding member of the Canadian Jumper Development Series,
has served on a number of equestrian boards and committees, and
has been a horse show organizer for 20 years.
Fox Run Stables is built on a 20 acre property, with 8 turn out
paddocks, 32 stalls, a 70 x 175 foot indoor arena and two sand rings
measuring 180 x 300 and 100 x 230 feet. A complete set of indoor
and outdoor schooling jumps are available for boarders and ship
ins.
The sand rings make a beautiful horse show venue that is really
unique. Several events are run each year attracting competitors
and spectators alike. The friendly atmosphere, along with great
footing and nicely appointed show rings has created a loyal following. |
